32. WHAT IS ARTICLE?

REASONS FOR REJECTING THE SHORT TERM RESIDENCE PERMISSION;

32. Article 15 refers to the article. You need to refer to item 15.

ARTICLE 32 –

(1) The following conditions are sought for issuing short-term residence permits:

a)  To make a request by citing one or more of the reasons listed in the first paragraph of Article 31 and to submit the information and documents related to this request

b)  Not falling within the scope of Article 7

c)  Having accommodation conditions in accordance with general health and safety standards

ç) Upon request, to submit a document showing the criminal record issued by the competent authorities of the country of citizenship or legal residence

d) To give the address information to stay in Turkey

 

ARTICLE 15 –

(1) Visas are not granted to the following foreigners:

a)  Those who do not have a passport or passport substitute document with a validity of at least sixty days longer than the visa period they requested 

b)  Those who are banned from entering Turkey

c)  Those that are deemed objectionable in terms of public order or public security

ç) Those who have one of the diseases considered as a threat to public health

d)  Those who are accused or convicted of the crime or crimes that are the basis for extradition, pursuant to the agreements to which the Republic of Turkey is a party

e)  Those who do not have valid health insurance covering the period of stay

f)  The purpose of entering, transiting or staying in Turkey

Those who can’t justify it

g)  Those who do not have sufficient and regular financial means during their stay

ğ) Those who do not accept to pay the receivables arising from a visa violation or a previous residence permit, or those that need to be followed up and collected in accordance with the Law No. 6183 on the Collection of Public Claims dated 21/7/1953, Those who do not accept to pay their debts and fines in accordance with the Penal Code
