Apostille is an approval for a document accepted as official in one country to become official in another country. While this process is done in the governorships in the provinces, it can be done in the district governorships. In case of apostille procedures, no fee is requested from individuals.

With the Hague agreement on 6 October 1961, apostille transactions gained a legal status. The agreements describe which countries have apostille approval and what procedures should be done for this approval.

DOCUMENTS THAT MUST BE APPROVED FOR THE PURPOSES OF APOSTIL;

* Diploma

* Marriage certificate

* Birth certificate

* Certificate of Celibacy

* It can be a power of attorney.

Documents approved by the Apostille process do not have any validity period. The period can be determined by the parties. 

PHRASES THAT MUST BE IN APOSTILLED DOCUMENTS

– Name of the country where the document was issued;

– Name of the person signing the document;

– Name of the person signing the document;

– Name of the authority to which the seal printed on the document belongs

– Place of certification;

– Date of certification;

– The authority issuing the apostille, the seal and stamp of the authority;

– Apostille number;

– Signature of the official who issued the apostille.
