HOW DO REFUGEES GET WORK PERMIT?

The employment of foreign nationals working in Turkey  is subject to permission, according to the International Labor Law No. 6735. You can apply for a work permit if 6 months have passed after receiving your white international protection card. The criteria required for obtaining a work permit in Turkey are not sought for persons with international protection. Thus; Conditions such as 100.000 TL capital, 5 Turkish citizens employees are not sought. Work permit applications can be made at any workplace.

*Foreigners with refugee or subsidiary protection status can work independently or dependently after obtaining the status, without prejudice to the provisions in other legislation regarding the jobs and occupations in which they cannot work. Identity document of refugee or subsidiary protection status also replaces work permit and this is written on the identity document.
